Organisations working towards NIS2 Supply Chain certification can make this immediately visible to customers and supply chain partners through the transparency register. This allows you to demonstrate, even during the certification process, that your organisation is actively working towards demonstrable cybersecurity and supply chain resilience.
Visible from registration
As soon as your organisation registers for NIS2 Supply Chain certification, a listing is immediately created with the status:
“This organisation is working towards NIS2 Supply Chain certification.”
This enables you to show customers, clients, and other stakeholders at an early stage that you are taking cybersecurity seriously. You will receive a logo and QR code to make this visible.
Automatically updated after certification
Once the certification has been successfully achieved, the status is automatically updated to:
“This organisation has achieved NIS2 Supply Chain certification.”
The validity of the certificate is also displayed immediately. Certification remains valid for three years.
There is no waiting period between registration, certification, and visibility within the register.
Share your registration with customers
The transparency register is already active, although it is not yet fully publicly searchable. Until that point, you will receive a unique verification link and QR code, allowing customers to directly view your current certification status.
These can be used, for example, on your website, in proposals, contracts, or in your email signature.
Public access coming soon
Following the formal entry into force of the Cybersecurity Act in the Netherlands, the register is expected to become publicly accessible shortly afterwards. Customers and contracting organisations will then be able to independently search for organisations and verify certification statuses.
